Effective date: July 30, 2026
1. Agreement
By placing an order, activating a licence, downloading, installing, or using AcadMates, the customer agrees to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund and Digital Delivery Policy.
2. Product and compatibility
AcadMates products are digital teacher systems intended primarily for supported Windows laptops or desktop computers. Microsoft Excel or Microsoft 365 may be required for editable workbook outputs. The customer must review the selected school level, product, device, and software requirements before purchase.
3. Licence grant
A purchase grants the registered customer a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the selected AcadMates product and school-level edition on the authorized installation. Ownership of the software, design, source code, templates, branding, and related intellectual property is not transferred.
4. Permitted use
The registered teacher may use the system for legitimate teaching, assessment, class-record, school-form, and related educational work covered by the selected product. Generated records and reports may be used for the customer's authorized school responsibilities.
5. Prohibited use
- sharing, selling, renting, publishing, or redistributing the installer, licence, update package, or protected system files;
- using one licence for another person or an unauthorized installation;
- circumventing licence, update, access, or security controls;
- reverse engineering, extracting, copying, or modifying protected components except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- using the product for unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized processing of personal or school data.
6. Activation and device transfer
The licence is connected to the registered teacher, selected product, school level, and authorized installation. Contact AcadMates PH support before replacing or transferring the activated device. Approval may require verification of the order and deactivation of the previous installation.
7. Updates and customer data
The in-app update checker may connect online only when requested to check for an official update. Updates are designed to replace application components without intentionally changing permanent customer records. Customers should keep appropriate backups because device failure, unauthorized modification, malware, storage damage, or unsupported software can affect local data.
8. Educational and official-record responsibility
AcadMates assists with record preparation but does not replace teacher review, school approval, or official Department of Education requirements. The customer remains responsible for verifying names, scores, computations, forms, policies, and final records before submission or release.
9. Support and service availability
Support covers reasonable assistance with purchase verification, installation, activation, official updates, and reproducible product issues. Availability may be interrupted for maintenance, security, network, payment-provider, or other operational reasons.
10. Suspension or termination
AcadMates PH may suspend or revoke access associated with fraud, chargeback abuse, unauthorized sharing, licence circumvention, unlawful use, or a material breach of these terms. This does not remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
